Paytronix Adds Red’s Savoy Pizza Chain To Order & Delivery Platform

Paytronix has added pizza chain Red’s Savoy Pizza to its Order & Delivery platform.

Red’s Savoy, which operates 16 outlets in the upper Midwest, will use the Paytronix system to consolidate its rewards program with its various takeout channels, allowing it to maintain a unified view of each guest, no matter how they order.

The system will enable Red’s to expand its contactless shopping business, including curbside pickup. It will also allow customers to order directly from their mobile devices through the Red’s Savoy Pizza Thank You Rewards app.

Using cloud technology, the Paytronix Order & Delivery platform features a user-friendly guest interface, digital order management tools, more than a dozen POS integrations and loyalty integration.

Last week, Paytronix launched Paytronix Subscriptions, a subscription-building product that will allow any restaurant or convenience store to set up and manage a subscription program for its customers.

Paytronix Subscriptions will be a key component of its customer loyalty platform. The company said the product will help lower barriers to entry for smaller businesses to establish their own subscription programs.

“Restaurants and convenience stores are in the middle of a permanent pandemic-driven shift to digital ordering, and subscription programs have already proven to be a powerful purchasing and loyalty tool within eCommerce,” Paytronix Head of Data and Insights Lee Barnes said in a statement. “By lowering the friction for consumer purchases, these programs strengthen the relationship between customer and brand while also providing the brand with recurring revenue.”

Increased demand for curbside pickup amid the ongoing pandemic has led to a shift in how QSRs are approaching ordering and payment.

The COVID-19 pandemic has been accelerating digital uptake in an unprecedented way. Research confirms that QSR patrons are seeking multiple online and offline ordering methods. A recent survey revealed that more than one-third of customers now prefer to order through restaurants’ websites or apps for delivery, for example, while 42 percent use those platforms for curbside pickup.

Meanwhile, restaurants have been rushing to upgrade their ordering and payment methods with the onset of a second winter with social distancing restrictions.

Operators that deprioritized digital upgrades to deal with reopening businesses over the summer now have a small window to make system decisions and get ready for uncertainty.

“The pandemic has kicked off-premises sales into high gear, and this trend is forcing eateries to add or improve delivery systems and — in some cases — revamp their physical storefronts,” notes PYMNTS’ November Order to Eat Tracker(R), done in collaboration with Paytronix.
